Camp Gan Israel is dedicated to enriching the lives of children from diverse Jewish backgrounds through a fun, meaningful, and stimulating camp experience. As part of the world's largest network of Jewish day camps, CGI is renowned for its creative programming, exciting activities, and inspiring Jewish environment.

Dates: Monday, 6 July – Friday, 10 July
Drop-off: 9:00 AM daily
Pick-up: 3:30 PM daily (Friday: 2:00 PM)
✨ Bonus Shabbat Program:
Saturday, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
🎉 Early Bird Special: 10% off registrations completed by 23 June
Family Discount: 10% off additional children from the same family.
💙 No child will be turned away due to financial circumstances.

Alongside the excursions, children will enjoy games, creative activities, and opportunities to explore their Jewish heritage in a fun and engaging environment.
🍎 Food & Refreshments
Fresh fruit, vegetables, snacks, and water are provided throughout the day.
Children should bring their own vegetarian lunch each day, as we will often be away from the Chabad House during lunchtime.
🌯 Friday Special: Falafel & Chips lunch at the Chabad House.

Rabbi Tomer and Inbar Rachel Ben-Harosh, together with two experienced camp counselors specially arriving from Melbourne.
Additional support staff will be provided as needed.

🔹 What does a typical day look like?
Part of the day is spent at the Chabad House enjoying interactive activities, games, and creative experiences, including exploring aspects of Jewish heritage.
The remainder of the day may include exciting outings such as Bounce Inc, Circus Arts, wildlife adventures, and more.

🚌 All transportation to and from excursions is organised by us.
👀 What supervision will there be?
Children are supervised at all times by Rabbi Tomer, Inbar, our experienced counselors, and additional staff as required.

Chabad Byron Shire is fully insured, and all staff hold Working With Children certifications.
🤝 We also work closely with local police to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children attending camp.
