🔹  What will a day at Camp Gan Izzy look like?

🔸 The camp is structured so that part of the day the children are at the Chabad house engaging in fun and interactive games and interesting activities on various topics including exploring some aspects of their Jewish heritage. For the rest of the day we will travel to venues such as Tropical Fruit World, Bounc Inc etc.

 🔸 The children will gather as a group for lunch and snacks at various times.

🔹  Can I find out the schedule and where my child will be each day?

🔸 Before the camp, registered families will receive a day-by-day breakdown of the times, locations and details of each activity.

🔹  Where do I drop off and pick up my child each day?

🔸 Dropoff and pick up is at the Chabad house, 69 Clays Rd Mullumbimby. All  transportation to and from excursion venues is organised by us.

🔹  What type of supervision will there be?

🔸 The children will be supervised at all times by Rabbi Tomer & Inbar, 2 guides, + additional support staff in a ratio of no less than 1:5. 

🔹  What about the food?

🔸 All food, snacks and filtered water is included and supplied throughout the day - including  fruit in morning and afternoon tea. Lunch will be Hot meal and fresh vegetables, as well as a variety of snacks. Friday will be a special BBQ.

🔸 Any special dietary requirements can be accommodated, please specify on the registration form.

🔹  Safety & insurance:

🔸 Chabad Byron shire is fully insured and all workers have working-with-children certificates.

🔹  Please note that no child will be turned away for lack of funding. 🔹

🔸 For parents who wish to register their children and feel that they will not be able to afford the full price, please contact Rabbi Tomer to discuss the possibility of a discreet sponsorship.
